Delete your BZZR account

This page explains how to delete your BZZR account and associated data — from within the app, or without it if you no longer have it installed.

BZZR is published by SCALE ME UP (Nanterre Trade Register B 882 370 794). Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Option 1 — From the app (immediate)

Open BZZR and go to Profile (icon at the top of the Scores screen).
Account section → Delete my account.
Confirm twice. Deletion is immediate.

Option 2 — Without the app (by email)

If you uninstalled the app or switched devices, email privacy@scalemeup.studio:

Subject: BZZR account deletion
From the email address associated with your account (this is how we verify the request actually comes from you).

We process requests within 30 days at most (in practice within 72 business hours), with an email confirmation once deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

Your account (email address, Apple/Google sign-in identifiers);
Your profile: display name, favorite teams, preferences (anti-spoiler, news sources, notifications);
Your credit balance, unlocked analyses, and the associated grant history;
Your reading history (internal audience measurement).

Deletion cascades: no data attached to your account is retained.

What this procedure does NOT delete

Your App Store / Google Play subscription: subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google, not by BZZR. Remember to cancel it separately (iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions · Android: Play Store → Subscriptions), otherwise renewal will continue.
Billing data retained by the stores under their own policies.
Any data we are legally required to keep (accounting obligations), limited to the strict minimum and excluding usage data.
